CHICAGO, September 21, 2009 - Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT) today announced the release of Autospreader Strategy Engine (Autospreader SE), a server-based implementation of TT’s market-leading Autospreader application for spread trading. Autospreader SE reduces latency and improves scalability over desktop spreading tools by pushing execution from the desktop to the server. At the same time, it preserves the look and feel of TT's popular Autospreader application. Hence, traders utilizing TT’s existing desktop-based Autospreader can move to Autospreader SE and immediately reap the benefits without learning or installing a new user interface.
Autospreader SE is the first in TT's new Strategy Engine (SE) family of server-based execution products. The SE family harnesses proximity based computing and delivers optimal performance, speed and resiliency to traders regardless of where they are located. Simply put, TT’s server-based SE execution platform will enable traders to trade from virtually anywhere in the world without experiencing the latency typically associated with remote trading.
Autospreader SE can analyze and react to every price movement on TT-supported exchanges. "Autospreader SE runs the same execution logic as the desktop Autospreader, with improved performance due to its multithreaded concurrent architecture. In addition, Autospreader SE significantly reduces price and order latency over desktop-based solutions because the execution logic is situated in very close proximity to the exchange's matching engine," said Tom Haldes, Senior Product Manager of Automated Trading at TT.
